Since commencing the manufacture of roof trusses, Read Brothers has used Wolf System, the market leaders in truss design software and metal nail plates. Our expert designers have all gone through Wolf System's very own training to get the most from the truss design program. No job is too big or too small, from hospitals and houses to garages and garden sheds, across East Anglia. One of our team will deal with each project from quotation through to completed order. We meet agreed deadlines and are honest about delivery lead times. Our factory staff are all fully trained in-house, and we perform regular checks to ensure the quality of our products. We hold certificates for Quality Assurance and UKCA Marking issued by B.M. TRADA Certification Ltd. Our machinery is modern, well-maintained, and we always strive to improve or update machinery when possible. The fabrication plant has two electro-magnetic table press stations, a Birch table press, a Birch Uniroll 750 easi joist press, and three truss saws. Our team carries out fully engineered designs for each project and provides all necessary structural calculations, layouts, and metalwork details for site use and building control. Part of our service is to make site visits whenever requested, and unlike most manufacturers, our specialist surveyors are happy to measure for jobs that match an existing building. We provide a complete truss package, including ancillary items such as bracing, truss clips, and hangers. Our quotations are fully itemised so that it is always clear what is included.
