Read Brothers Ltd have invested in modern machinery to be able to produce more efficiently and quickly to a high standard. The saw mill has two Stenner band resaws, a six cutter moulder, vertical panel saw, cross cut saw and thicknesser all serviced by an environmentally friendly extraction system. Full machining facilities are available.

The fabrication plant has two electro-magnetic table press stations, a state of the art computerised truss saw and an easi-joist press.

Our team carry out fully engineered designs for each project and provide all of the necessary structural calculations, layouts and metalwork details for site use and building control.

Part of our service is to make site visits whenever requested and unlike most manufacturers, our specialist surveyors are happy to measure for jobs that match with an existing building and we take full responsibility for the dimensions taken.
